Medical devices exist to improve lives. How we make them matters too.
Every product that leaves our facilities carries a footprint — the energy used to make it, the materials that went into it, and the miles it travels to reach a hospital or a patient. We think a company in the business of improving health has a responsibility to take that seriously.
So we’re working to reduce our impact across the board. In our factories, where we’re moving toward cleaner energy and cutting the waste our production generates. In our logistics, where we’re looking at how products are packaged and how far they travel. And in what we buy, working with our suppliers to make better choices further up the chain.
What we’re doing
Cleaner energy at our sites. Less waste from production. Lower-impact transport and packaging. And working with our suppliers to do the same.
